We offer artwork in the form of high quality photography, vibrant
digital works, and the timeless traditional formats. We provide
many sizes and paper types (including canvas) to give you as many
choices as possible.

What steps do you take to ensure Customer Satisfaction?
1) We only showcase work we think is of the highest quality and screen all of the work before placing it in our gallery for display and purchase.
2) We review every order. This includes special instructions and the specifications of your art to make sure that you will be satisfied with your order. If for any reason we have a question or if we are not completely clear about your order, we will contact you.
3) Packaging and Shipping: We take extreme care in packaging your order to make sure that it arrives to you in great condition and without damage. All shipments are insured to their full value. All orders are shipped in sturdy tubes.
Ordering, Payment & Security
How do I place an order?
Simply left click any thumbnail image. After you have selected the print, medium (paper type), and size combination you would like to purchase just click on the Add to Cart button. You can finish the ordering process by clicking on "checkout now", or you may continue shopping by clicking on the "continue shopping" button. You may return to your shopping cart at anytime to checkout by clicking on the "My Cart" icon in the upper right hand corner of any page. You can add as many items as you like, including quantities of each item, and may remove items from your cart by checking the "Remove" box and then clicking the "Update" button.
What types of payment do you accept?

Can I pay by phone?

Is there sales tax on my order?
The Untapped Source is located in State of California, USA. We only charge sales tax for orders being shipped within the State of California.
How secure is purchasing through The Untapped Source?
Your security is a top priority at The Untapped Source. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Your credit card information is not stored internally, which is why we require you to enter it each time. This ensures that data theft is never a concern because there is not sensitive data to be used.
When our registration/order form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as your credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software currently available in the industry - SSL. We use one of the highest grade encryption levels available: 256-bit encryption. Not all browsers support this high of encryption, but the majority support atleast 128-bit encryption which is still among the highest available. To ensure the highest level of security, please use a mainstream and up-to-date browser.
Can I save my print picks and come back later to purchase them?
If you have cookies enabled, your cached browser memory will save any choices you have added to your cart so that you can purchase your prints at a later time.
Will I receive an order confirmation after I have placed my order?

Shipping
How long will it take my order from The Untapped Source to arrive?
Shipping time depends on your location and the shipping options you choose when you checkout. Shipping times should closely resemble those specified during the checkout process. The longest an order shipped to an address within the continental US should take for delivery is 2 weeks. Orders outside the US can take up to 3 to 6 weeks via normal postage, but normally take much less time.

How will my order be shipped?
All orders are shipped in sturdy tubes and wrapped in protective paper to ensure the integrity and quality of your purchased artwork is maintained from shipment preparation until you have it in your possession.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! International shipping times and rates will vary upon location and products ordered. Rates will be calculated and displayed during your ordering process. The easiest way to calculate your shipping is to add your items to your cart, then click the 'checkout' button. You'll be presented with your shipping options at that time. You will always see your shipping cost before you are asked to confirm any purchases.
What happens if only a portion of my order is available for immediate shipment?
All orders are shipped when all products in the order are available.
How do I know when my order has shipped?
Once we process your order and ship it to you, you will receive an email notification stating the date your package was shipped. See above for shipping times.
How long will it take for my order to be shipped?
Orders will be processed and shipped within 48 hours from the time of ordering. We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.
Can I ship to a P.O. Box?
We do NOT ship to P.O. Boxes.
Can I track my order?
If your order was shipped via a traceable method, you will receive a tracking number with "your order has been shipped" email. The following are methods of shipment with tracking available: USPS EXPRESS (continental USA), GLOBAL EXPRESS GAURANTEED (Canada), USPS GLOBAL EXPRESS (International)
Can I ship my purchase to someone other than myself?
Yes. When you are checking out, you are asked to enter information regarding billing address and shipping address respectively.
Returns
Does The Untapped Source have a Satisfaction Guarantee/Return Policy?
The Untapped Source wants you to be completely satisfied with
your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for
any reason, you may email us at orders@theuntappedsource.com
or call (805) 474-6042 and arrange to send your order back for
a full refund of the purchase price. Shipping costs are not included
in the refund price and return shipping is the responsibility
of the customer. All return arrangements must be made within 7
days of delivery. Products damaged due to shipping issues will
be replaced at the expense of The Untapped Source.

Who pays international duties and/or taxes on orders?
The international shipping charges (including Mexico and Canada) do not include the applicable import duties or taxes that are due upon entry into the destination country. All duties and taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the customer, and must be paid at the time of delivery.
Framing
Do you offer framing as a service?
At the moment, we do not offer framing as an in-house service. Visit here www.FrameUSA.com for custom and ready made frames at great prices! We try to format artwork to standard frame sizes, but we will never compromise the integrity of a piece of art simply to make it fit a standard frame! When framing is not an option, try laminating your prints! It is a very cost effective and durable to way to keep dirt, sticky residue, fingerprints, and moisture away from your art.
Do canvas prints come stretched or mounted?
At this point, we do not mount or stretch canvas prints. All canvas prints come with a 2” white border so the work can be stretched.

The Untapped Source uses only the finest printers, inks, and papers available to bring our customers unparalleled quality in the prints we provide. We use superior Canon Products in our printing and are most confident in the quality that they produce. The Canon
imagePROGRAF iPF8100 44" printer is on the cutting edge of
large format printing. This allows us to easily produce astonishingly
impressive, professional grade, full-bleed color utilizing Canon’s
LUICIA 12-color pigment system. The result is that we deliver
only the finest quality prints you would expect!
Canon's LUCIA pigment ink offers excellent color fastness and stability with a remarkably wide color gamut. The LUCIA ink formulation for Black, Matte Black, Gray and Photo Gray reduces bronzing and provides stronger ink adhesion to a wide variety of your chosen media. The resulting prints feature better scratch resistance, without protection to your valued artwork. Vivid color and long-lasting prints are the end-results of this advanced Canon technology.
The Dual print head system with a total of 30,720 nozzles combines speed and performance with a print resolution of 2,400 x 1,200 to deliver the level of image quality you have come to expect. With 4-sided edge-to-edge printing on a variety of media, the iPF8100 delivers professional borderless prints up to 44” wide and sets the standard in fine art printing.

What is Giclée printing?
Giclée differs from other traditional printing methods.
Posters are usually produced using offset lithography, which uses
4 colors of differing size dots to produce the colors (cyan, magenta,
yellow, and black). Newspapers are produced the same way. Giclée
prints have the different colors of ink mix on the surface of
the paper, so the colors are bright and uniform, even when examined
close up. Our Canon Giclée printers use 12 colors of ink
(cyan, photo cyan, magenta, photo magenta, yellow, black, matte
black, red, green, blue, gray, photo gray), so we are able to
produce a much wider spectrum of color and better all around print
quality than a traditional print can.
One of the benefits of Giclée prints is that they are Print
On Demand, meaning artists and customers can purchase prints in
large runs or one at a time.
What is the difference between the paper types you offer?
Canvas Print
This non-reflective paper type is a material not far from a traditional
canvas used in an oil painting. This type of paper is water and
fade resistant and delivers superior color and tones. This flexible
paper type is ideal for stretching and framing and is durable
enough to not crack or tear. It is the best choice for an oil
painting style reproduction.
Watercolor
Paper
An archival paper with a natural smooth surface and has a very
slight texture. It offers excellent image detail and resolution
reproduction making it ideally suited for high-end fine art photography
and art reproduction. Furthermore it provides one of the highest
black optical density characteristics for a matte paper available
today.
Matte Print
A slightly rough surface that reflects no spectacular amounts
of light and has little to no luster. This paper gives good color
depth while maintaining excellent highlight and shadow detail.
Matte paper is not vulnerable to being marred by fingerprints.
It makes for an economical solution to a print but does not give
the highest amount of color.
Glossy Print
A smooth and reflective surface designed to make printed images
look sharp, vibrant and more like a traditional photograph and
gives the most accurate portrayal of the original artworks’
color. They give the viewer an exquisite quality with higher contrast
than matte paper.
Luster
Print
Also referred to as semi-glossy, this paper variety is the in
between of Matte and Glossy and gives prints what many call “a
real photo feel”. They give vivid color saturation and are
easy to handle. It can be easily laminated to provide protection
from light and moisture and reflects less light than glossy while
not being a totally reflective surface.

How do I care for my artwork?
Caring for art prints/oil paintings is a very simple thing to do and just requires some common sense! All artwork sold by The Untapped Source is of such a high quality that, if maintained properly, should last for 50+ years! Below you will find some helpful pieces of information to aid you in maintaining your artwork purchased from The Untapped Source.
Always display artwork in a stable environment.
Extreme temperatures or humidity can cause canvas and frames to expand and contract.
If artwork is unprotected (no frame,
glass, or lamination applied), do not place it in direct sunlight, near heating or cooling vents, or by
sinks, showers, fireplaces, candles, or near cooking areas. Large amounts of sunlight can fade the vibrant
color of your artwork over time.
Try not to touch the surface of the artwork
as oils in your fingers can leave a residue on the work.
A large portion of damage to artwork occurs
during the handling and moving of a piece without care. Make sure to carry artwork by a frame if possible,
and always carry the work in such a way as to protect the front (toward your body).
Make sure to hang your artwork with secure,
strong, hardware.
Never leave a stretched Canvas piece of
artwork leaning against a sharp point or curve. No matter how small the point is or how long you leave it,
there is a very high chance you will dent the artwork, and damage the surface.
If you are transporting art, make sure to
transport it correctly. A simple, cost effective way to do this is to use two pieces of firm material (hard
cardboard will suffice), placing one piece on the front and back. From there, wrap the artwork in Styrofoam
or bubble wrap. This will protect the your artwork well. (Note, if the artwork is overly heavy, or a large size,
crating is the best option.)
Never use soap and water, household polishes
or cleaners with solvents on the surface of the artwork. They may attack and breakdown the paint surface.
If dusting is necessary it should be done very gently with a wide, soft brush.

Can I display and sell my artwork at The Untapped Source?
Yes. Please just send an email with a link to where we can view your work, or attach files for us to few. We will examine your work and make a decision as to whether The Untapped Source is the right place for you to display and sell reproductions of your work. How are images protected when added to The Untapped Source Art Gallery site?
The Untapped Source uses many methods to protect images from
piracy. Below are a few:
• Web images are small as is, and for the most part, are
not print quality
• Print files are held offline and are safe from piracy
• The Artist Access Center as well as everything else to
do with The Untapped Source is encrypted to ensure security. Keep
your passwords and login ID secure.
NOTE: There is no perfect solution to image piracy. The Untapped Source does its best to protect the image copyrights it portrays.

Do you offer printing service?
Yes! We pride ourselves on offering a great variety of paper types and sizes, many of which are not sold on the site. We print to any size, and deal with you personally. Prices for prints purchased by the artist (of their own work) are the best you'll find anywhere, especially for canvas and fine art papers, and is the of the highest quality as well. Please email artist@theuntappedsource.com to inquire about the Artist Buy Program. We print for artists even if you chose not to be listed on the site.
