Egil Paulsen is an art student living in Oslo, Norway. As an artist,
Egil uses digital tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Painter to
create is images. He uses techniques such as photomanipulation and
digital painting with the help of a drawing tablet.
Egil
has been published in 5 major Ballistic Publishing book titles, one
book published by 3DTotal, and a handful of notes and tutorials in Zoo
publishing's 2DArtist magazine.
He has also been a part
of Hong Kong's public entertainment campaign called Project Canvas,
which let him exhibit his artworks on Hong Kong's largest outdoor light
emitting diode (LED) advertising display network with daily view ship
of above 1 500 000 people. Exhibiting his painting Kamicarus at the 115
Digital Art Gallery in Bucharest made him part of the first digital art
exhibition in the eastern-europe.
Currently Egil is working as screenwriter and production designer for the upcoming short film Black Milk.
As a graduated bachelor in computer science with a genuine interest in
subjects such as HCI and universal design, he is also assisting
lectures at Oslo University College.
