© 2012 RC deWinter ~ All Rights Reserved _______________________________________________________________________________ Would You Let Me? _______________________________________________________________________________ If we were walking hand in hand alone across a golden field and I was seized with the desire to tumble you back to the earth, to run my hungry fingers underneath your shirt and sweater, brushing lightly on your nipples as I kissed your lips so softly, would you let me? _______________________________________________________________________________ Or would the worry of the damp distract you from that wild pleasure, preventing you from willingly surrendering to my eclipse? Would terror of the living earth subsume your spirit's passion, fearful heart recoiling swiftly, surely from this moment's madness? _______________________________________________________________________________ Suppose some starry moonless night we strolled along some sandy shore. If suddenly I pulled you down just inches from the lapping waves and ravenously stroked your skin with hands of silky fire, pointed tongue exploring bravely all your chambered caverns, would you let me? _______________________________________________________________________________ Or would concern for salt caresses keep you rigid in my arms, inching imperceptibly away from Neptune's dark domain? Could you forget the siren song of waters crashing on the rocks? Would your mind slam shut to passion, retreating deep into the sand? I tell you now, oh would-be lover, if these thoughts do give you pause, perhaps it's best if we consider whether we should take this step that brings us past the point of pleasure from which there is no retreat.
