Inside the Mohave Desert, Death Valley brings extremes such as high heat and low humidity making this place one of the least likely, yet most amazingly unique locations in the United States. This shot, taken in the Mesquite Sand Dunes shows just how barriers such as mountains can provide ideal photography settings in this sandbox of the devil.
