Artist Notes

This is a portrait painting of Princess Obsidyanna. She is a fictional character I created for the story I wrote called Trail of Time. In this story she is the Princess of the Kingdom of Vanadis. Her people call themselves the Vekolth and in my story they existed during the time of the Dinosaurs 65 million years ago. I made her with both human and reptilian attributes, such as green skin with scales on her shoulders. Her emerald eyes are snake-like and she has feathers for hair. The V symbol on her medallion represents her family crest.
