- Artist Notes
- A photo of the full Moon just after it rose above the horizon. The golden glow is caused by the Moon's light having to pass through a thicker part of the Earth's atmosphere which acts as a filter only allowing the redder hues to get through. This is also why it looks a little softer than normal because with this much air to pass through there is a shimmering effect created by ground heat rising into the air. Shot with a 400mm F2.8 with a 1.4X teleconverter.
