Rice terraces cover the hillside near Birethanti on the western arm of the Annapurna Circuit. Perched amongst them is a modest house. The foothills of the Himalayas are lush and green, in contrast to the stark scenery higher up; much of the land at this level is cultivated. See more at www.SerenityPhotography.co.uk
