- Octopuses, or octopi, have two eyes and four pairs of arms. They have no internal or external skeleton, allowing them to squeeze through tight places, and are among the most intelligent and behaviourally flexible of all invertebrates. This large specimen was spotted on a night dive in the Red Sea off Egypt.
