She is a sketch, the wings are pen and ink, and the background is one of my photos, to which digital techniques have been applied. She is named after a song written and recorded by my sister, Barbara Mauritz, of Lamb, who was signed with Bill Graham. It was also recorded by the Pointer Sisters. Barbara opened and closed the movie, Last Days of the Filmore, and wrote music and performed with Earl Scruggs for the movie, Where the Lilies Bloom.
