I’d like to dedicate this image to that exquisite musical work of art … as well as to the nature of the industrious bee and all that he does for humankind and our beautiful blue planet. Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 105mm vr Nikon macro lens at 1/3200 shutter speed and f/4.5 aperture. Extension tubes used. Exposure -0.33, 320 iso. Image taken 5/21/2011 on top of Blue Knob Mountain in Claysburg, Pa. USA. Slightly cropped and lightly processed in Adobe’s Camera Raw.
