- On a clear day, the sky on top of Blue Knob mountain in Claysburg, Pennsylvania (USA) is the most amazing blue. I wonder if that isn't how the mountain got its name. This image was taken January 22, 2011, just a few days after I finally screwed my courage back up and returned to the ski slopes myself. Center, bottom third you can see the chair lifts and a group of happy skiers. Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. Shutter speed 1/2500, aperture f/8.0, exposure -0.67, iso 250. The only post work was a bit of noise reduction.
