Artist Notes: A compilation of my own photoghraphic images. The leopard was taken at the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo in Thurmont, Maryland with the Nikon D300 and the 70-300mm vr Nikon lens at 300mm focal length. The bird, a towhee, was taken on my back deck in Maryland with the Nikon D300 and the 150-500mm OS Sigma lens at 500mm focal distance. Combined in Photoshop CS4. Further tweaking in Photoshop CS4, Adobe Bridge, Capture NX2. My eternal thanks to Jerry Jones aka Skeletal mess at Flicker (ShadowHouse Creations), as well as to Leslie Nicole (French Kiss Textures) for all the textures.
