- Lightning illuminating the early stages of a night time dust storm in Arizona known as a Haboob. These clouds of dust can grow to heights of 5000 feet and spread out a far as 100 miles from the thunderstorm that created it. They are created when a storm suddenly collapses releasing a massive downflow of rain and wind called a micro burst.
