One of my favorite annual events here in Toronto, The St. Lawrence Market Criterium (sometimes referred to in the past as The Toronto Criterium). A section of downtown is closed to traffic and a 1km race course is constructed. The average time to complete the 1km is just under one minute! The speed, strength and endurance of these athletes is incredible to watch.
