Artist Notes
This an old painting of an old man who lived on the streets of New York. I would see him every day, sitting on a bench, feeding the birds. One day, I got up enough nerve to ask him if I could sketch his face. From the drawing, I created this work. I was in my early 20's when I did this painting. It is in a private collection.
