Artist Notes: This was originally entitled "WHITE POWER" but because of the negative connotation/ not wanting to distract from the image it's self, I change it to the pearl earring. The names of all of my images come about extremely organically this was one of the very few times I felt I had to censor my self. Anyway this is also the time that I became very attracted to people with albinism, the theme is recurrent in my work. They are such a screw you ....to the 'WHITE POWER' movement!!! Hence the original name. LOL!
