- This was the first of 12 stylised butterflies and flower illustrations I've done, the flowers are done with watercolours and I painted the butterflies with gold paint. All the titles were derived from works by old poets or philosophers and the flowers were mostly oldfashioned, the kind beloved of the Victorians.
