- When I arrived in Canada it was midsummer and British Columbia was a green wonderland strewn with incredibly beautiful wildflowers of every colour and description. Walking along this trail was an enchantment, of warm sunlight, flowers everywhere and tiny blue butterflies that rested on the flowers and us with no thought of fear or distinction. It was a wonderful day.
