Artist Notes: This piece was mainly a technical challenge for myself. I aspire to one day reach the level of technical mastery with pencil-work as Armin Mersmann and other advanced contemporary pencil artists and with this piece I feel that I've taken a step closer to that.

The ear and the far left side of the piece was meant to be much less detailed in an attempt to convey a DoF effect, though it turned out looking a bit rough over there. Other than that, I think it turned out good.
