Artist Notes

This original oil painting on canvas was a commission from a rock group in California. They would put it on stage when they performed at the Roxy, and other venues. Long story...they thought the painting was cursed, and brought it back, and told me to keep the money. Two years later, another rock group purchased the painting. They had a car wreck, and the painting came back. Vampire then hung on loan in the recording studio at MCA, Los Angeles, for 5 years. I picked it up when I moved to New York, and vowed to never sell it again.
