© 2010 RC deWinter ~ All Rights Reserved ~ ~ A pair of small keepsake chests - one old, lock missing, veteran of many voyages, the other relatively new and intact - sits on a battered table in the cabin of the captain of a vessel of bold buccaneers. And of course, what pirate captain would be without his bottle of rum? ~ ~ I wonder if the newer, decorated chest held jewelry belonging to a lady travelling on a ship that the pirates robbed.
