This small plaster statue was in my home when I bought it in the early '80s. I would guestimate that it is over 40 years old...maybe much older. It stands only approximately 6" tall. When I first acquired it, it was fully painted. Over the years, sitting on my outdoor porch and exposed to the elements, the paint has gradually flaked off. I think I like it best now. She almost looks real, in a surreal way, don't you think? She has a wonderful expression and really tells a story. I still do love her.
