© 2010 RC deWinter ~ All Rights Reserved The Forgiveness of Time Some pain cuts so deeply it seems the wound can never heal; yet Time’s wingèd chariot, as Marvell named, has power to mend most grievous hurt – even if only to temper one’s arising each day from a task inconceivable to one that can be faced with equanimity. And as the rolling years do circle and embrace the past the way they have since time and space commenced, the damaged heart, like phoenix charred, does resurrect, and at snail’s pace sends out the fragile green filaments of life reborn. © 2010 RC deWinter
