© 2010 RC deWinter ~ All Rights Reserved A detailed view of some of the petite rambler roses adorning an archway of natural corded branches; from the Rose Garden Festival in Elizabeth Park, Hartford, Connecticut. The park is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is the oldest municipally-operated rose garden in America. Its 2 1/2 acres are home to 800 species of roses (15,000 individual plants).
