- © 2010 RC deWinter ~ All Rights Reserved A composed, serene, amused and luminous Maid Marian, diademed and dressed in her best, stands in the witness box in the shire court, telling the Sheriff of Nottingham that she is ignorant of Robin Hood's whereabouts. On the wall behind is an illuminated injunction, warning of damnation to eternal hellfire for those who lie under oath. Translated from the Middle English, the title is 'Sir, I Know Not,' Said She.
