© 2010 RC deWinter ~ All Rights Reserved A shimmering, immortal wood sprite gazes longingly and sorrowfully at the ruined manor of her long-dead human lover, a knight killed in battle. She holds a bit of tattered, blood-red ribbon in her hand, and has made a hair binding of some of the same; she took this, her enchanted gage that failed to protect him, from his body on the battlefield.
