Artist Notes: from the Aerial Collection

The Aerial Collection began sometime in 2005 or 2006 when Dan was traveling extensively without much time for photography on terra firma. Typically an aisle seat flier for quicker access to the "loo," Dan began requesting window seats in order to keep his photography muscles in shape. All images to date in this series were created aboard commercial flights within the continental United States.
