Composited from a single image of sandstone in the Hocking Hills Region of southeastern Ohio, Navajo Spirit emerged when "booking" or "reflecting" at first the entire image and then portions of it. This is the first Elemental Reflection to break the 1:1 format of the existing series. For Dan, the patterns begged for a different aspect ratio as the patterning of beautiful Navajo rugs came immediately to his mind.
