Artist Notes: from the Flora Collection

The garden outside the back door of the Vulcania Graphics & Fine Art Studio in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania is a veritable treasure trove of subject matter for Dan and his partner, Shawn. A patch of spiderwort in various shades of blue appeared early one summer thanks to some passing bird or other critter. They have become a favorite subject for Dan in the early morning hours and even as they begin to close as the sun peaks over the rooftop and into the garden.
