After a particularly cold and snow winter, with Spring still feeling more like Fall, cabin fever got the better of Dan and his partner Shawn so they went out in search of photographic opportunities. The Lock 12 recreation area is situated just below the Holtwood Hydroelectric Dam along the Susquehanna and Tidewater Canal between Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, and Havre de Grace, Maryland, at the head of Chesapeake Bay. The canal provided an interstate shipping alternative to 19th century arks, rafts, and boats plying the difficult waters of the lower Susquehanna River and on this particular day image opportunity for Keo and Sahoni. Look closely, you will see racoon spirit peering out from the rocks behind the icicles. Despite the cold, it was a blessed day!
