Artist Notes: from the Nature Collection

While on business in St. Charles, Illinois outside of Chicago, Dan had an afternoon free before traveling to enjoy some photographic exploration on the grounds of the hotel where he was staying. It was Spring and just outside the meeting facilities of the hotel, down a gently sloping hill was a pond alive with Dan's feathered friends of all species flitting about and snacking before retiring for the evening. The golden light of the setting sun danced across the water and vegetation and fell beautifull across this cat tail gone to seed.
