The small water feature in the backyard home / studio garden is a treasure trove of material for Dan in all seasons. In the Spring, before the leaves have fully flushed out, the sky and plant life add reflective color to the pond's surface and the bubbles from the waterfall dance happily along. Dan never knows what or who will appear in the magical waters; a barrel-chested rogue appeared to Keo in this image and his gaze seemed to stay on the photographer as he traversed the surface of the pond, trapped in the all too ephemeral world of his bubble. Who could he have been; or who is he still in this magical watery realm? Perhaps he'll return again to reveal more of his story. The garden and all of its contents are a constant source of inspiration and a National Wildlife Federation Certified Backyard Habitat.
