from the series "The Eyes' Mind"

The small water feature in the backyard home / studio garden is a treasure trove of material for Dan in all seasons. In the Spring, before the leaves have fully flushed out, the sky and plant life add reflective color to the pond's surface and the bubbles from the waterfall dance happily along. Dan never knows what or who will appear in the magical waters; in this image, ghostly animal and human-like figures appear to occuypy the bubbles on the water, seemingly watching the story of a serpent on the prowl for a meal as a ghoulish roach takes a dive for cover. But let your imagination run wild as you view this image, for it is the eyes' mind that will reveal its message. The garden and all of its contents are a constant source of inspiration and a National Wildlife Federation Certified Backyard Habitat.
