Very welcome to my gallery on theuntappedsource.com. I am a 31 year old engineer living in Istanbul, and I have been taking photographs with great ambition for around 11 years. I started taking photographs seriously in 2003 and learned a few things by developing black and white photos myself. Photography means a way of escaping from the real world to me. I love landscape photographs and prefer the cold and sometimes dark beauty as well as wild nature of the land. I also enjoy taking photos of ruined places and objects in my unique concept. I like to add gloomy, sad and lonely features to my works and try to create another world from cruelty of the reality. I started with analog camera, nowadays continue with digital cameras. I’m using new techniques giving various moods to landscape photography (HDR, Infrared, panoramas, filtering etc).
